Night in Bethlehem

Hey friends!

Here was the second of the Artisan Stamp Club cards we made last week. (if you missed the first one, you can go back and see Friday's post!). I wanted something that really showcased this bundle, but at the same time was quick and simple. I love the effect of this one. It would be easy to crank out a pile of these!! It may be a little late for this year - but now may be a good time to think ahead to next year!!

I used the Champagne Foil Sheets here - it is a subtle stop in between gold and silver and so, so pretty! And the star is from the Year of Cheer embellishments. Your choice of gold or silver!

Enjoy, and Merry Christmas!

Snowflake Sentiments meets

Every once in a while, I pick up some products and a beautiful card just magically happens. It's like I don't even have a say - it just tells me what to do. That was what happened here, and I love it :)

That snowflake border, though! So pretty! I will let you know - this is one of the framelits that you'll want to have a new Big Shot platform and Precision Base Plate for. If you don't have one yet, you'll probably be able to identify with framelits not cutting fully through, and struggling to get small pieces out of intricate dies. No more with the Precison Base Plate!! It is a must-have for using with intricate dies like this and will make your life soooo much easier.

The rest of the card is very, very simple. Just some Year of Cheer designer series paper, silver glimmer, and some embossing. You know, all the glam. :)

What's your favorite metallic? Foil or Glimmer?

ICS Blog Hop: Tags & Trimmings

Hi everyone! I am a new hopper on the Inspire, Create & Share Blog Hop, and I am super excited to be joining this group of talented artists! Please enjoy my post, leave me a comment so I know you were here (we bloggers need lots of encouragement!), and when you get to the bottom, click on that NEXT arrow to visit the next blogger in the hop.

Today, I'd like to share with you a card I made with my stamp club. I LOVE to take products that you wouldn't normally put together and make something beautiful with them. This month, I used the Tags & Trimmings bundle along with the Naturally Eclectic Designer Series Paper pack. Unconventional Christmas card colors, for sure! But I love the finished product, and I hope you do too!

It's hard to see the glimmer in the snowflake in the photo, so I took a closer look at the card so you could see it - it's so pretty!! And also notice those layers - it is my go-to-standby-everybody's-gotta-have-it duo of the Stitched Shapes Framelits and the Layering Circles Framelits. Non-negotiable, guys. They will up your layer game for sure! Also the Triple Banner Punch. I pull that thing out for at least every other card I make. The unsung hero in this card, though, is the Whisper White Craft Stampin' Ink Pad. It shows up as beautifully white snowflakes against a Berry Burst background. Give it a couple of minutes to let dry after you stamp, though, so it doesn't smudge!

Thanks for stopping by today! If you like what you see and you'd like to create it at home, you can always visit the Stampin' Up! online store. If you don't have a demonstrator (and you're in Canada!), I'd love to be yours, whether you're near or far. If you already have a demonstrator, you can contact them about how to get these products.

Now, go see Karie who is next on the hop!

It's a Magical Day

Hey guys!

So, if you follow me on instagram (artisansanonymous) or facebook (Stampin' Up! with Jenilee Pauls) then you'll know that my awesome husband took me to Mexico last week for my birthday, so I was a little MIA. I did have time to make this little sneak peek card before leaving though, and I wanted to share it with you! It's a mashup of current and upcoming product - and I looooove it. :) It's a combination of some of my favorite colors, and some of my favorite products. I hope you love it too!

That sweet little dragon is from this set called Magical Day, and it is part of a Myths & Magic suite that includes Specialty Designer Series Paper, Washi Tape, Glimmer Paper, and framelits!! So cute. I can't wait to ink up that knight in shining armor for Valentine's Day!

I combined this dragon with a little circle from the Naturally Eclectic Designer Series Paper, and the super simple clouds with embossing paste. The sequins and ribbon add just enough texture. Love it!

ALSO - I used the blends to color these. This is one of the techniques we'll be doing as part of my Blends club - using more than one color duo to bring light and life to your images!

Enjoy!

Smitten Mittens

I'm a knitter, too. My sister-in-law asked me if I wanted to learn to knit a couple of years ago. She had NO IDEA. Neither did my husband. He's repeatedly told me over the last two years that knitting has opened up a whole new side to me that he didn't know existed. Well, hey. I didn't know, either! If you're a knitter, too - come find me on Ravelry! I'm purlsaremyfave.

I just finished these for my middle son :)

Anyway, when I saw the Smitten Mittens stamp set in the Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog, I had.to.have.it. We made this card with my stamp club recently. This would be a great card to accompany a gift to any knitter, right?? Or even just someone you're gifting knitted goodies to!

So simple and cute! Enjoy!

Also - don't forget! My customer appreciation special is on today still! Buy the Love Today planner and get the Petal Garden Memories & More card set FREE! Just use host code 3XYS6FQ3 at checkout, and I'll send you an etransfer refund for the cards!

You're Priceless! (no, really - you are!!)

Hi everybody!

This whole month feels like it's been a bit of a whirlwind! I wanted to share with you the card I made for my OnStage swaps, as well as some details around how it was made. I made about 80 of these for OnStage, and had a lot of fun swapping them and giving them away!

First of all, I just love the sentiment in this stamp set. It's perfect to give to someone for a celebration - but it celebrates not just what people have DONE, but what we ARE. We are valuable just in the pure fact that we exist. That is something worth celebrating!!

I started off making this card by taking the mosaic thinlit from the Eclectic Layers Thinlits and cutting into a piece of Window Sheet that was a little bigger than the size of my card front layer.  I used this as a stencil for embossing paste. Cool, huh? You can make literally any framelit into a stencil!! Once I had the embossing paste on, I removed the stencil and sprinkled it with Dazzling Diamonds Stampin' Glitter. Now - a couple of notes about embossing paste - it dries fairly quick. So don't leave the lid off of it for a super long time, or you'll get crusties inside. Ew. Also, because it dries so fast... if you're making a lot of one project (like I was, when I was making 80 of these!), then you'll want to clean off your stencil periodically. Dried-up embossing paste will accumulate in the corners of your stencil and you won't get a crisp, clear stencil. Nobody wants that. Even if you make only one, you'll want to clean your stencil and your palette knives quickly after using them. It's just easier that way.

Next, I made the Night of Navy scalloped border using the Decorative Ribbon Border Punch. Because I was making so many of them, I'd just do whole strips down the long (11") side of my cardstock, then attach my Naturally Eclectic designer paper strip and trim with snips. That punch, by the way? Genius. Double-sided genius.

OK, the diamonds. I stamped them in Memento Ink, and let them dry. (Ok, not intentionally. I stamped 80 of them. By the time I was done stamping, those first ones had looooots of time to dry!) Then I colored them with our all-new-absolutely-fabulous Stampin' Blends. (Can you tell I love them???) I used the Pool Party light and dark markers, as well as the Color Lifter to blend. Then I got my Big Shot out and got a show going on my ipad because I knew I was going to be there for a while.

It could have been worse. I could have cut both styles of diamonds. Oh wait. I did. In silver foil. This, by the way, is a 2-step framelit. You cut out the center bits, and THEN you cut out the outside diamond shape. You can appreciate, I'm sure, that cutting 80 of these was a labor or love. Or stupidity. Whatever. They're beautiful, right??!

Finally, I cut some 3/4" strips of Lemon Lime Twist, punched the edge with the Banner Triple Punch, and added the sentiment in Old Olive (btw - those colors look good together!) Pop it all together and stick on some rhinestones (because, seriously, can we have a card about gems without rhinestones?! NO!), and you're good to go!

I hope you like the finished product! I was happy with it. Which is a good thing, when you're going to trade your card with OTHER DEMONSTRATORS. I always get so stressed about swap cards... I feel so much pressure to do my best work! If you like my card and want to reproduce it, there's a handy-dandy little list of products I used below. Please also leave me a little comment to let me know you stopped by! It's a really great free way to support my business. A little encouragement goes a long way!

OH. Also, this week, there is a fabulous little thing called the ONLINE EXTRAVAGANZA going on. It's an annual sale on lots of Stampin' Up!'s products. On Monday, there's going to be some doorcrashers! woohoo! But I want to add my own little sale to this, because, hey - it's almost my birthday, and I found out this month that I was the #45 demonstrator in Canada. I don't do any of what I do without the help of my friends - both my team and my customers. You, my friends, really are priceless, and I am so thankful for each and every one of you. SO here's my deal - when you purchase my favorite product, I'm going to give you a little gift! Everyone who purchases the Love Today Planner Kit will get a FREE pack of the Petal Garden Memories & More Cards. These are great - they almost look like they were made to go together - and they're a great way to scrap-plan in your planner. I have my planner all set to go for 2018! I am so looking forward to it being my daily planner. SO. Place your order online using host code 3XYS6FQ3. Put that Petal Garden card pack into your cart (so it will get shipped right away to you!) and I will send you an etransfer refund for the card pack! So simple!

Again, thanks for stopping by! You're priceless!

An Amazing time at OnStage 2017!

Hi everyone!
Last night, I got home from an amazing time at Stampin' Up! OnStage in Salt Lake City. I probably say this every time... but this trip has been my favorite so far. Not only did we get to look at and order early from the new upcoming Occasions and Sale-a-Bration catalogs (you all have to wait until January!!), we got to learn about the new products and spend time with amazing friends. These events are more and more fun the more times you go, because you get to connect with people from all over the world. And each time you go, you know a few more people and the excitement just grows.

This time, I was fortunate to have a couple of my downline attend with me: Jenn Picard, whose blog A New Ink on Life  is just gorgeous, and Elenore Martens - a friend who has been stamping far longer than I've even been a demonstrator. Both of them were SO fun to hang out with this week! Jen was rooming with her friend Connie Collins - a past and recent Artisan Award winner! You can check out her gorgeous designs at her Constantly Stamping blog. If you're in the US and looking for a place to pick up your favorite Stampin' Up! products, I encourage you to buy through her! She spends a lot of time and energy designing the beautiful projects she makes, and I would like to see her continue to do so for a very long time!! If you're in Canada, you can visit my store and purchase any Stampin' Up! products there!

I was especially excited because, for the first time EVER, I got to walk across the stage for an award. I have a fabulous team (Artisans Anonymous!) and they have been so great this year that I received an award for recruiting. I kinda feel like I can't take too much credit for it because they're the ones who've done the work! But I feel so privileged to be their leader. In addition... I made the ranking boards for Canada this year! #45 in Canada! SO excited, and so thankful for all of you that made that happen for me!

We saw a lot of new products that are up and coming - from the newly released Stampin' Blends alcohol markers to Brusho Pigment Crystals to our soon-to-be-released Stamparatus Stamp Positioning tool!! SO EXCITING! For more information on how to get your name on the reservation list for the Stamparatus, contact me before Nov. 16!! For more information on the Stamparatus, check out the video at the bottom of the post. It really is a pretty phenomenal product - I can't wait to get mine!!!

Ok! This post is getting long so I'm going to let you know more about OnStage in the next couple of posts, but I wanted to remind you all that I have a super fun Blends club happening now! You can sign up anytime, and you can attend the classes if you're local or have them sent to you if you're not. The first class is Nov. 21 from 9 am - 11 am or Nov. 22 from 7 pm to 9 pm. The club is 5 months long and is $50 per month. You'll get all the Blends, your choice of hostess stamp set, and a choice between the Color Me Happy project bundle (kit and stamp set) OR a selection of Blends Basics like cardstock and ink. I am accepting registrations NOW so contact me ASAP if you are interested!

Thanks for stopping by! Visit me again in a day or two and hopefully I'll have some of my swap cards up on the blog!

A Wonderful Life Together

This summer, my sister was over and asked me to help her make a wedding card for her soon-to-be husband. My other sister was going to a wedding soon too and needed a wedding card for that. I was not only excited to get to stamp with my two beautiful sisters, but I got to play with some glimmer and sparkle... which always makes my day!

Those gold foil striped envelopes? SO perfect for a fancy envelope! And I'll tell you a secret. That heart on the front of the card? It's actually a Memories & More card. I just popped it up on a layer, added a glimmery heart and some gold metallic thread, and there ya go. Insta-card! We made these cards in under 10 min!

Enjoy!

Deck the Halls!

So, school starts in the morning. I've enjoyed summer. I really have. While it's been busy, and my list of things I wanted to do this summer definitely didn't get finished, we had fun. I got to play with my kids, and I enjoyed it so, so much. I'm kinda sad that they'll be away so much.

But apparently I'll be busy :) I have been creating this week to get ready for my stamp club and new catalog launch party! Want to see what we'll be making?? Of course you do!

These are the projects we'll be making at my classes this week. Stamp club members get to make them for free! Also, anyone who places an order of $50 or more can attend for free. Options are Tuesday morning from 9-12, or Wednesday evening from 7-10. I'd love to have you join us!

I'll be posting later in the week with specific details on these projects, so check back. Which is your favorite?

Heck Yes!

When I saw this stamp set, I just had to have it. I am a huge sucker for large text-only stamps. And this month, I wanted to show them off along with my very favorite designer series paper in the catalog, the Whole Lot of Lovely pack.

I kinda like the result, don't you?

PS - that woodgrain background is achieved by embossing a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock with the Pinewood Planks Dynamic 3D Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (try saying that 10x fast!) and then applying some Soft Suede ink with a sponge brayer. Lovely!

Thanks for stopping by! Which of the three cards in this set were your favorite?

So Very Sorry for Everything

This was the second card that we made at club this month. :)

I'm terrible at making sympathy cards. Probably because I'm even worse at sending them. I just never know what to say. I get all anxious about it and end up never saying anything at all because I figure that no matter what I say, it will be the wrong thing. Obviously, I overthink it. Anyone with me?!?

Fortunately, this card says it all.

And in a kinda pretty way, I might add. There's that Whole Lot of Lovely Designer Series Paper again. It really is a showstopper!

Any advice for the awkward sympathizer?

Thanks in advance!!

Sending a Whole Lot of Lovely

I'm so excited to share this set of cards with you this week! This was my number-one-top-favorite-gotta-have-it-immediately item in the catalog. This paper. I LOVE IT. I want so much of it. And I don't want to waste a single tiny strip of it.

So I didn't. :D

I created this series of cards because I wanted to show how a single card layout could be tweaked by using different paper, different colors, different stamps, and different embellishements. I hope you'll enjoy seeing them as much as I enjoyed making them!

What type of planner are you?

Hey friends!
I have a question that I'm hoping you can help me sort out. Stampin' Up! has come out with this awesome, phenomenal planner. Here's a photo so you can enjoy it almost as much as I do:

 It. Is. Gorgeous.

And I've had it in my hands for a couple of weeks now - and some of you have expressed that you'd also like one - you can purchase them here from my online store! I've also been thinking about putting together a planner class. I have some ideas; I could put together embellishment kits for the class... but the big question remains.

Are you a September - August planner or a January - December planner?

There are pros & cons to both.

September planner
Pros
- It is the school year/many activities & programs run Sept thru June
- Many people don't do much advance planning during the summer, so it is a natural time to transition to a new planner year
Cons
- You don't have a single calendar year all in one place
- Most planners are sold for a single calendar year

January planner
Pros
- Single calendar year is all in one place
- Start off the new year fresh with a new planner!
Cons
- I find that I run a dual planner system all through the fall when I do it this way - because I'm planning ahead for the next year. (honestly, I've got tons written in my 2018 planner already!!)
- I find the need to get the next year's planner in summer/fall, because I find out dates for activities and want to write them down so I don't forget!

One of the lovely benefits to the Stampin' Up! planner is that it comes with a whole bunch of coordinating items like pockets, stickers, post-its, and more.

You can even add photos in! How cute is that?!

So, what do you think? Start a new planner in the fall or in the new year? I am going to say that either way, it would be fun to start it off with a planner class in August! The cost will be $65 and will include your planner, some treats, some prizes, and some ideas for how you can plan your life! First person to confirm gets to pick the date; I am open to multiple dates/times! You may even want to have a planner party with your friends. Or you may want to come here and meet mine :) If there are 4 people registered, I'll give away the Tabs For Everything stamp set with the class. You can an entry for coming, and an extra entry if you bring a friend that's new to me! If there are 8 people registered, I will throw in the Round Tab Punch too :)

You can email me to register! And let me know your thoughts about the September vs. January debate in the comments :)

Pocketful of Somethin'

I'll be honest with you. If I hadn't won this set at OnStage, I wouldn't have bought it. And if I hadn't won it, I wouldn't have gotten the framelits either. It didn't jump out at me as a gotta-have.

I'm glad I do have it, though - cuz look at this adorable card I made with it!!

I loooove it! And I love that a gift card fits so perfectly inside that pocket. Which actually is a real pocket, by the way. You can make it into an adorable little gift box, too! so stinkin' cute. And check out the Pinewood Planks Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder in the background, there, too! (I know. That one's a mouthful!) I also, again (because it was for stamp club) used the Coffee Break Designer Series Paper as my inspiration. So yes, the cards I've posted this week make quite the cute little set :) and can all be made using the same designer series paper pack! Yay!

COFFEE COFFEE COFFEE

Sometimes, I feel a little like Lorelai from Gilmore Girls. As in, I could live off of coffee alone. It's all I really need. Sometimes I feel like it's my best friend. Yes, I know that it's an unhealthy dependence and I should probably quit. I have before. Obviously, not forever ;)

When I was designing cards for my July club, I really wanted to play with the Coffee Break Suite. I looooove this pack of designer paper, and I love the colors and stamps/framelits/accessories that go with it! So I had a ball putting them all together! I also love how this suite very coincidentally coordinates with Starbucks colors - so you could easily slip in a Starbucks card and it will just look like the card was MADE for it!

Here's what I used to make this card:

Thanks for stopping by today! Now I'm off to get me a grande coconut milk flat blonde. What's your favorite drink?

A Foxy Little Wedding Card

So my studio computer crashed last week... I had the blue screen of death on it. I'm still not really sure what I should do with it. I've had it for a few years and this has happened before. We had to put a new hard drive in it I think. I don't think I'm willing to pay to do that again... so I might need to get a new one up there!

Anyhoo... I have a pretty card to share with you today! This one is pretty special to me because I made it for my sister and brother-in-law. They had a gorgeous little wedding in Tofino, and this is to celebrate them :)

They looooove the outdoors and hiking and so I wanted to make them a card that reflected those interests! I used the Foxy Friends stamp set and punch and took my color inspiration (as well as a few pieces of paper!) from the Coffee Break Designer Series Paper. I absolutely love those combos! and the sentiment is from the Sunshine Wishes framelits. And look how nicely the corrugated elements and little enamel heart goes with all of it!

Here's what I used to make the card (clink on any of the links to visit my online store!):

Also, don't forget about the awesome deal that is ongoing this month for new demonstrators! When you purchase the starter kit, you get a FREE Essentials pack that includes lots of good stuff - including a sneak peek of a new stamp set (and hint: you can get the matching framelits in your starter kit to get a jump on your Christmas card planning!) Check out http://www.stampinup.net/esuite/home/jenileepauls/jointhefun for more info, or just give me a shout at earlandjenilee@shaw.ca and I'd love to answer your questions!

Have a great day!

Coffee Break meets A Little Foxy meets Happy New Baby!

I had a friend ask me to make a large card for a baby shower - one that would be big enough for many people to sign.

I left it until 10:30 pm the night before.

I knew that I wanted to play with the Coffee Break Designer Series Paper and I wanted a little fox on there too. I loooove the result! Hope you love it too!

PS - that ribbon is to die for. It ties the nicest bows!!

Jenilee

I sometimes try to make cards using just one stamp set and items that come in a bundle... today was not one of those days. Today was one of those days where I look for just the right thing and take stamps from three different stamp sets (I used another one on the inside!) and mix & match. That's another thing I love about Stampin' Up! - you can mix  & match!
Here's what I used to make this card:

Daisies, Daisies, everywhere!

Hello friends! I hope you're enjoying this week!

I sure am.

For starters, I got my biiiiig box of new catalog product last night, and spent the evening with a couple of friends going through it. I'm going to be doing my unboxing video on facebook live as soon as I get a chance - maybe tonight! Keep checking back there to see it!

Today I wanted to feature the Daisy Delight bundle. I just couldn't help but pair it with the Wood Textures crate! SOOOO stinkin' adorable!

And then I decided that it needed a matching card. Wouldn't this be adorable as an end-of-year teacher gift? You could stick a little gift card in the crate! Want to make these? Contact me and we'll set up a little class where we can make these with your friends!

Thanks for stopping by today - now I've got to go to work, and tonight I will be back to playing with my mounds of new catalog stuff. I can't even wait to show it all to you - there are SO many beautiful and fun and awesome things in there!!

Product Spotlight Blog Hop: Happy New Catalog Day! (I mean, Happy Father's day...)

I mean, come on. What are we really so excited about today?!? Have you already put in your new catalog order?! If not, I can help you with that. If you did, what was the top item on your list?? What are you the most excited about?

It's time for our Product Spotlight Blog Hop today! Whether this is your starting point or you've arrived from Robbie's blog - welcome! And make sure you visit the other blogs in the hop to see all the projects we've got for you today!

Today, I am sharing a couple of my TOP favorites in the new catalog with you - my favorite framelits, my favorite stamp set, AND my favorite designer series paper. WOW! triple threat!!

Wouldn't you love to make this card for Father's Day?! It reminds me of the pallet wall I have downstairs in my living room. I love this! You've got woodgrain all over the place, paired with the Happy Birthday thinlit (I just cut the "birth" out of it), paired with the Labeler stamp set (make any saying you want!!), paired with the Wood Textures designer series paper, burlap, and black metallic twine. I dare you to tell me you don't love this.

If you haven't put in your order yet - you're in luck. You can still get these items on it! Click on any of the images below to enter my store and shop there if you're in Canada. And then come back and follow the blog hop to Amanda's blog to see what she's cooked up for today!

Love is Truly Artistic

Warning.... there's another sneak peek here ;)

When I saw these two stamp sets in the new catalog, I just KNEW that they had to go together. We were given the Crafting Forever stamp set at the Stampin' Up! CentreStage event in Calgary (this is a reward dinner event for achieving demonstrators), which was soooo nice! Later that evening, I was flipping through my copy of the new catalog and I saw the Just Add Text stamp set - and this sentiment. It reads, "I feel that there is nothing more truly artistic than to love people." It's a quote by Van Gogh, and it so perfectly encapsulates my worldview. I believe that loving the people around me is an art, and an honor, and something that will take me a lifetime to perfect.

Challenge accepted.

Along the journey, there will be (as there have already been so many) failures and flops. Mistakes. Frustrations. Attempts which just don't even make sense. But there will also be beautiful works of art - unintentional glimpses into a parallel reality where things are perfect. Those rare but unforgettable moments when a connection forms between the vast depths of two souls, and the security of unconditional acceptance that follows. It is, quite honestly, one of the things I wake up every day for, and is a huge part of the reason why I love Stampin' Up! and the community that's developed out of it for me. I love my art form.

You didn't think I'd get all sappy and philosophical, did you?
Thanks for stopping by! Let's get together in person sometime!

A pretty sparkly Happy Birthday to you!

I'm in the middle of my biannual (twice a year) Stamp Your Heart Out Retreat this weekend, and I'm having SO much fun playing with some of the new stuff that's being released later this week (June 1 - can hardly wait!!). So here's a little sneaky peak for ya!

How much do you love that watercolor-washed background! I don't know if you can tell, but it was watercolor pencils washed with a clear Wink of Stella to give it a satiny sheen. It is SO pretty IRL. And that "Happy Birthday" is from a new thinlit (go figure, called the "Happy Birthday thinlit") that is pretty much my favorite thing in the whole new catalog. I simply looooove it. And it makes such amazing cards without a whole lot of effort. It is an item that will make you look like a cardmaking superstar!

A tip for using those thinlits? Cut two in contrasting colors, and layer them together to create a shadow for added dimension. You're welcome!

Thanks for visiting! What's your favorite item in the new catalog?

Take Heart, my friends!

Hi friends!

Welcome to the Product Spotlight blog hop for this week. This week, we're featuring bundled products that are carrying over. You may have come from Amanda's blog - and if not, make sure you follow the blog hop until you get there. :)

The good news? Almost every.single.thing on this card will still be available next month. (everything except the designer series paper).

The bad news?

That cute stamp-set-and-framelit-bundle is retiring, and so is the 10% discount that applies when you purchase it before the end of May! But wait! There's more good news! If you purchase the Sunshine Sayings & Sunshine Wishes bundle before the end of May, you can still get the discount. yay!

More good news. Even the Pop of Pink designer series paper is available now! And it's on sale!! You can head over to my store and use host code AAF43JR4 to qualify for my May mystery host party!

Here's a complete list of the products I used today - you can also click on any of the images to head to my store. Don't forget to place your order for retiring products before the end of May so that you can still get those items you love :)

Thanks for stopping by today! Now, go see Robbie at her blog. And we love to read your comments, so drop a note to let us know you were here!

 Happy Stamping!

Ribbon Shares are COMING!

I will admit it.

I am a sucker for ribbon.

I have lots of good reasons though! It just adds SO much.... especially when it's Stampin' Up! ribbon and the color *so perfectly* matches the ink and paper. I remember the days before Stampin' Up!, when I'd try to color-match, but all of my projects always felt like they were missing something. Then, I discovered Stampin' Up! and I realized what my previous projects were lacking.

Complete Color Coordination.

There is just something perfectly pleasing about a project that doesn't clash in the slightest. When all the colors are the same tone. They don't compete with one another. I just love it.

SO, all that to say that I am offering some pretty stellar ribbon shares this year!! Stampin' Up! is coming out with a fantabulous ribbon offering this year, and I want them all! And I need you to help me, so we're going to do ribbon shares. Each share includes 1/5 spool of each included ribbon or twine - for most ribbons that's 2 yards, for a couple it's 1 yard, and 5 yards for twines!! Here's what I'm offering this year:

Metallic Shares: $22 for 19 yards of 10 different ribbons (does not include metallic thread)
Regals Shares: $20 for 19 yards of 8 different ribbons/twines
Neutrals Shares: $29 for 37 yards of 13 different ribbons/twines
Subtles Shares: $18 for 17 yards of 7 different ribbons/twines
Brights Shares: $24 for 23 yards of 10 different ribbons/twines
In Color Shares: $45 for 47 yards of 19 different ribbons/twines!
- Add an In Color Designer Series Paper Share (1/2 pack!) to the In Color Ribbon Share for $15 (regularly $18!)

I am offering all of these combined - the I Want It All Combo! for $150.

I'm also offering ribbon shares by type:
- 1/2" Finely Woven Ribbon (2017-19 In Colors) - $12
- 3/8" Striped Grosgrain Ribbon (2016-18 In Colors) - $12
- 1/4"  Stitched Edge Ribbon - $10
- 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon - $12
- 3/8" Shimmer Ribbon - $10
- 1/8" Sheer Ribbon - $9
- 5/8" Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon - $12
- 3/8" Mini Chevron Ribbon - $8
- 1/4" Ombre Ribbon - $8
- 3/8" Classic Weave Ribbon - $8
- 1/4" Double-Stitched Ribbon - $8

Ribbon Shares will be ordered on June 1 and ready for pickup or mail by the 15th. Shoot me an email to earlandjenilee@shaw.ca to get your name on the list for these awesome ribbon shares!

May's Mystery Host Shopping Code!

Hi friends!

Well, my April Mystery Host Shopping party was so much fun, I'm doing it again this month! The shopping code for this month is AAF43JR4. When you shop online with me, you can enter this code at checkout. All the online orders that use this code will work towards earning free host rewards, and those who order will have the opportunity to get those rewards for themselves! I divide it the following way:

FIRST: 50% of host rewards

SECOND: 25% of host rewards
THIRD: 12.5% of host rewards
FOURTH: 12.5% of host rewards

and there will be consolation prizes for those who don't get drawn for host rewards. This is my way of saying THANK YOU for your patronage & ordering online! You can order from anywhere in Canada and have the orders shipped straight to you. SO FUN!

In April, I got to give away over $120 in host rewards. The only thing I like better than getting free stuff myself is getting to give YOU GUYS free stuff. Seriously. My job is so much fun!!

Now, get shopping! I will do the May Mystery Host Draw on June 1. :)

Monday, April 24, 2017

So, as you all know by now, there are a whole bunch of items retiring from this current catalog. What you may not know is that there are some tricks to navigating this whole retiring-item thing. Some of the things on your list may not be discontinuing - yay! That's great! But you do need to know that even if the items are sticking around, the bundled price of 10% IS NOT. So here's a nice, concise list of which bundles are going away so you can make sure you get them for a discount while you can!

You can purchase any of these bundles through my online store - and make sure you use the host code KTSAGV3Q! I am doing this as a Mystery Host party - so the host rewards will be split between four of the orderers - first draw gets 50%, second draw gets 25%, and third and fourth draws will each get 12.5%. YAY! There is already over $50 in free stuff on this order!

Thanks for stopping by! Happy stamping :)
